New Pronghorn Xing Video & Infographic | ![]() |
Explore our new video and infographic showing how a road mitigation system can help pronghorn move freely across the prairies. We're excited to share two new resources from the Pronghorn Xing project that showcase the power of collaboration in helping pronghorn safely cross highways. First, check out our new video, Building Prairie Corridors for People and Wildlife, created by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology – Conservation Media team. The video brings to life the story of this unique species and the partners working together to restore connectivity across the Canadian Prairies. It highlights the challenges and the innovative solutions to help pronghorn navigate fragmented landscapes. Alongside the video, we've created a new infographic that clearly illustrates the problem, our approach, and a solution - wildlife crossing structures. Designed to be a quick and engaging visual summary, the infographic is a great resource to share with community members, decision-makers, and anyone interested in conserving prairie wildlife. Both the video and the infographic are now available on the Pronghorn Xing website. Whether you're a conservation professional, landowner, land manager, or simply curious about pronghorn, we invite you to explore these tools and help spread the word about this important work. Together, we can help pronghorn move freely and safely across their historic range, while reducing motorist safety risk. Project partners: Alberta Conservation Association and the Canadian Wildlife Federation Thank you to our funders:
