Trout Unlimited Canada Strategic Planning Support

Image

Miistakis had the opportunity to provide strategic planning assistance to Trout Unlimited Canada, reviewing and revising their new strategic plan, and guiding them through a facilitated planning process.

Trout Unlimited Canada (TUC) has been working across Canada since 1971 to ensure the country’s coldwater lakes and rivers are conserved and restored as parts of healthy landscapes supporting sustainable communities. As a respected, science-based organization with limited resources and trans-national programs, they were seeking to ensure their conservation impact into the future in an efficient, effective way.

TUC approached Miistakis for assistance with reviewing their existing plan, and facilitating an all-staff and board planning session. Miistakis worked with TUC staff to re-work the existing strategic goals, affirm their strengths and weaknesses, and facilitate a day-long planning session where the organization had a chance to plan together strategically as a team, devise a genuine planning support document for the next 5 years, and put themselves in a good position to undertake their operational planning.
