We are pleased to tell you about our Highway Wilding project’s partnership with award-winning filmmaker Leanne Allison to create a documentary film about wildlife and highways, and how we can work together to reduce the harm that highways cause to wildlife.
The film will tell the story of the amazing wildlife and the researchers who study how animals are using the wildlife crossing structures in our Canadian mountain national parks. The film will be created for a diversity of audiences, and will be made freely available to teachers, other conservation groups and other interested parties who wish to use the film for non-commercial educational purposes.
We will enter the film in a number of film festivals and aim to have the film air on national television.
But, first we need to secure the necessary funds to make the film a reality!
